take 295 south to route 50, when you get to the light [bladensburg blvd/rd/ave whatever] hanga right, after the overpass/traintracks make your first left onto queens chapel rd

the building will be on your right, 2nd building i believe, in two hues of BLUE

you can't miss, there will probably be someone directing people towards parking, but of this i'm not sure

OPTION 1] take 95 north to 395 like you were going to nation, but keep on 395 north, when you get to new york ave [the light where 395 dead ends], make a right [only option], and keep driving till you reach bladensburg ave/rd/whatever and make a left, after the train tracks overpass/bridge, make your first left onto queen chapel rd BLUE BUILDING ON RIGHT
OPTION 2] take 95 north till you get to routh 50 and go west towards dc, when you get to bladensburg ave/rd/whatever make a righ, and after the overpass make an immediate left onto queens chapel rd, building will be on right, in blue

The new home for Alchemy is here!

Club Envy is 10,000 square feet, broken up into five spaces (one large, two medium, two small) plus several other smaller rooms on both the ground floor and upper level. All rooms on the ground floor are virtually wall-to-wall dance floor. The VDJ room and A.L.I.A.S. will both have much more room than before

There will be on-street parking, a secured lot that is only $5, and valet parking available for those who want to take advantage of it. In addition to the secured lot, the entire neighborhood will be watched by uniformed monitors, who can also direct you to the secured lots.

Open bar is still 9-10. Yes, Jay is along, plus Anne and other bartenders from Nation, with the addition of the lovely Miss Jessica this week, with others still to come in future weeks.

Working front door we are happy to welcome back Sixx, and around the club we'll have many familiar faces from the Nation security staff as well.

As for the music, this week we've gone all-out to show off the range of things to expect in the many areas of the club. Most of our residents are spinning, plus appearances by New York's Adam X, Bill Spieler from DC9, and a great lineup of local stars in the Red Room, plus the live punk and rockabilly sounds of Big Daddy Chrome and The Screws in the upstairs room.

Also, we are happy to say we will be serving FOOD! The first week we're just getting started so we'll probably have some pre-made wraps, candy, chips and sodas, but as we ramp up we'll have fresh-cooked goodies like burgers and hot dogs (with their veggie counterparts as well). We're going to do our best to keep the food area serving until nearly closing time, so if you want to grab a bite before heading home it won't require a side trip to iHop or 7-11 any more.

We'll be having a drawing to give away a pair of tickets to see Gary Numan playing live at 930 Club on Wednesday August 9th. Also, if you don't win them, Strangland will be selling them (both on Thursday and at their store) for no service charge. Strangeland also has copies of the new Gary Numan CD on sale as well.
